ARAVANA FIRST EPISODE
FOR US..
483rd day
Is that the sound of running water? After a while, I come to the conclusion that it is stationary. I should have been at sea. I was going through my memories, but I couldn't find any. Really, where was I? I've given my attention when I hear the human sounds. Maybe it could have been a clue . However I couldn't provide a clean listening.
496th day
"Isn't he awake yet ....?" What? Who? Were they talking about me? No, I was not sleeping. I'm awake. Was I sleeping or not? Damn! What was going on here? I couldn't open my eyes. I could not locate any of my limbs, including my fingers. Silence was the last thing I heard as my subconscious mind dragged me into the darkness.
501rd.day
I managed to escape the seemingly endless seconds of nothingness and wake up. There is not even a breath in the place or thing I am. I guessed it was night. Can I open my eyes now? Please. My attempts were unsuccessful. I was flowing into nothingness, trapped in the dark.
508th day
Whatever happens, I will wake up today, I will not be defeated. I wanted to take a deep breath I'm not even sure I'm breathing. I had to start experimenting with my toes. I passed flexion, abduction, adduction, and even moving my finger was enough. I patiently kept trying. I should have focused. While I wait to hope my neurons help me, I froze as the lights appeared on my eyelids. My eyes are closed and I noticed the light? Yeah man keep trying. Keep trying. After a time that seemed daunting to me, I managed to wiggle my toes. Here's my turn. Becoming aware of the energy that is slowly attacking my body , when was the last time I felt such a beautiful feeling? I've never loved my mitochondria so much. What was this cold that came with my sense of touch?
I tried to motivate myself by saying, 'Open your eyes, Duyonkan, you can do it'. On the other hand, my memories were starting to surface. We went through tough times with my family, just like everyone else. I'll get through this too, if I can figure out what's going on. While all my memories were filling up, a woman came to my mind towards the end. I left him after a good night. Next? There is no next. Wait a minute, what was I missing? Who was this woman? What did my name say?
When my eyes suddenly opened, my brain was still buzzing. I was in a cold room with grey walls. With a sudden reflex, I straightened up, crouching in the corner for a fraction of a second. 'I should have gotten out of here' Behemehal! I had to get out of here! I didn't know what it was, but my instincts were telling me to do it. I took a real breath as I headed towards what I thought was the door, and let myself go into the dim hallway. I was walking down the corridor with quick and cautious steps. Although it seemed like it would never end, I was face to face with a door again. 'Be careful,' I warned myself. I glided slowly towards the street in front of me. I noticed that the doors were encrypted from the outside, but not from the inside. What, was it so easy to get out? Whether it was a great blessing or a trap, I can't be sure yet. For a moment, my knees seemed to loosen their ligaments, but I didn't give in right away. I gathered myself and started running through the empty streets in Hoping to lose my track.
The sky began to brighten. I had to find a safe place for myself as soon as possible and find out where this damn place was and why I was here. Buildings; It was almost the same white except for the uniform light discoloration. All three to five floors. The curtains were tightly closed and neatly symmetrical. When I felt dizzy, I continued looking ahead. As I walked Accelerando, I thought I shouldn't draw attention. I was startled by a distant voice. I carried on without hesitation. Tired of the streets that were parallel to each other was starting to come.
I was trying to hide my nervousness when people passed me by. I felt like I was being watched or not. I don't know, these could be the fantasies of my mind. No, no, I was sure. My sixth sense has never failed me. Even as I retreated to secluded corners, I was sure all eyes were on me.
I came to myself with a chill running down my spine. What is this; The reason for the paralyzing fear? Damn, I should have gotten the hell out of this place right now. Now! By hiding, that is, in a way that seemed to me to be hiding, I continued on. It was too quiet for a crowded place. Just ahead, I met an old woman driving a stroller. The baby in the car might have been the only good thing here. When he returned my smile, I relaxed a little. I should have continued. Just then I plunged into the dark dead end street. Yes, it's up to here. I couldn't find the courage to turn around and continue. When my last shred of courage vanished, I conceded defeat and collapsed to where I was. Whatever is going on now. Two silhouettes appeared next to me. I let myself go when they took my arms and tried to drag me somewhere. What was I fighting against? How could I go on without knowing? A car appeared in front of me, from which I did not know where it was coming from. Is it a car? Wow, was there a car here too? The sedan is a Volvo. It's an older model S60 whose red colour doesn't quite fit here. .My good times started to spin in my brain. I remember when this car first came out. While I was thinking about this, they opened the rear left door of the car and pushed me inside. The interior of the car was divided into compartments. I could not see anywhere, the driver part, the right seat . It was like I was in the box. Then the box on my right opened.
A ball of black tulle was in my lap. A bit of a heavy ball. Before I knew what was happening, tulle flew towards my face. A pair of eyes were staring at me through the veils. A pair of eyes I know. Something was going on here, but I was sure I would find out soon. The woman whose name I still can't remember was looking at me with worried eyes. Why was she worried? It couldn't have been for me. I was still looking into her eyes as she slowly parted her face. I waited for her to speak while my eyes studied his face. She had a straight face, he didn't have blue eyes, long blond hair, or a swarthy complexion. With a bony nose, small lips, and wheat-like skin , what was I attracted to? I can't take my eyes off her eyes? Is it because her gaze is penetrating me? Maybe it's because of her tiny dimples and the mole on her right cheek. She was a plump woman. Her increasingly heavy body might have bothered me, but right now I was grateful for that. While a part of me is wondering what to say to me, my brain ; She could guess that I wouldn't be too pleased with what she was going to say. After endless seconds, I could hear her voice.
“How are you, Duyonkan?” he said. Really? How am I? Was he really wondering how I was doing, she was like that. It took me a while to find my voice. I forgot that I can speak. Hearing my name come out of your lips was a kind of proof that I was alive.
"How do I look from there?" what was this problem in my voice? I wasn't even sure it was my voice. She avoided my eyes. I guess I upset him. I didn't want to act like a vagrant. It was obviously risky for him to do so. He had taken those risks, and I was speaking foolishly. 'How are you' was the beginning of everyday conversations, but it didn't quite fit here. I thought how nice straight conversations were. I was grateful for so many simple things that I don't care about these days.
"You have to be fine." It was hard to understand the emotions in her eyes as she said it. I had a million questions to ask, but it could wait right now. I was afraid of the answer to the only question that mattered. Time is up. Whatever happens now. I had to find out before my nerves had completely devastated me, what was going on.
"Why am I here and where is this place?" Yes, I've asked the million dollar question now. There was no going back. She took a deep breath, was it that bad, I said to myself. Maybe I should have been scared, but the peace inside me was indescribable because of her being here.
"This is a place that seems normal but I can't even imagine what's going on inside, you have to get out no matter what" as these words poured out of her mouth, my last shred of hope vanished.
"You have to get out of here, you have to do it at any cost! You see? No one knows I'm here. Not even the driver of the car knows who is in the car. You mustn't trust anyone. You mustn't talk to anyone."
"What exactly is this place?"
"It's called the criminal scene. The people here are either real criminals or they're criminals that someone put in here. You're from the second group. But you never know which group someone else is in. So never look NEVER deal with anyone. Please. It's for us." means for us. Who were we? What's the crime scene bullshit? How could she be so sure that I belonged to the second group?
"How do I get out of here?"
"As soon as you get out of this car, walk east. Non-stop eastward. Find yourself a house. Every morning you have to leave the house you found. Wherever you go at night, you have to leave that house in the morning. Everyone here does it at night, so you have to be extra careful at night. A real killer can finish your off. Now go as far as you can go find yourself a house. That's enough of knowing for now. That's not good for you. You have to stay focused. Ahh.. One more thing, don't kill anyone no matter what. You'll never get out of here if you kill . Accidentally or for whatever reason." I continued to stare at her with disbelief.As if she understood this;
"I know, I know. Please just do as I say. You'll understand in time."
"Who put me in here?" The sudden change in pupils frightened me. The way she looked away from me was the answer to me. Of course she knew. Did I have an enemy that I didn't know about? My head was so blank that I couldn't remember what was going on, never.
"What's the date today?" I asked this trivial question before I even thought of it, causing her to frown. Come on, was it that bad?
"August 30" stopped. She took a deep breath "Monday, 2027" .
"What?" What the hell was this woman saying? She must have been kidding me.
"How long have I been sleeping?"
"It's been about 500 days." Her voice was very low towards the end. My head started to spin. This was more than I could handle. As I closed my eyes and tried to calm down, two small hands touched my cheeks. The warmth of her hands didn't help much. I was sure my face was on fire. My whole body was numb.
"You've been waiting for me all this time? Why? Who am I to you?" My questions might have hurt her, but it didn't matter right now, she should have understood me too I was in a big nightmare.
"I have reason, two reasons actually." I couldn't understand what it meant. I did not extend it because I did not have the head to tire.
"You must go now." what? Now?
"Please remember what I said. We'll be waiting for you at the exit." Why was she always speaking in plurals. I didn't want to go out. I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to struggle. While I was thinking about this, she had already passed to the side, the door was already open. I jumped out, startled by the "right away" voice. When I turned around, the wind was blowing in the place of the car. East, I had to find east first.
I needed to get out of this dark place and find the sun; I needed to figure out which way was east or west and move on.I should have done this as soon as possible. Before the thoughts that attack my brain take over me, without leaving me weak.,. I came to myself with my stomach rumbling. Here is another problem. I had to find food and drink in this damn place. I had no idea where or how to buy or find it. Certainly.
It can only be this hard to remember where the morning sun comes from. Houses, streets, sidewalks, roads were so much the same; How could I find out which direction I came from? Since I came out with my right side of the wall, the sun must have been hitting my left side right now. My intelligence wouldn't let me down. I should have trusted myself. I had no one here but myself. I passed between the buildings and started to head east.
Buildings no longer bothered me. Every now and then, I came across dead-end streets, came back, continued. It's very rare, maybe a few people I've come across. I've seen a few flats without curtains. I didn't stop because I had to go all the way. I came across an apple tree in a quiet place. While I was weighing whether to take it or not... I remembered a saying like 'Let the horse die from barley'. When I plucked it, I attempted to bite it but later regretted it. Was it an apple or a stone? What did I expect?
As I progressed, the uniform buildings around me began to decrease and sporadic trees began to appear. It felt like I was out in the open, like I was easy prey. I could have sworn I saw a few people running parallel to me. Each time I set a goal for myself. Let me pass through that tree, it's almost time for the rock, once I get through the one-story house, it's okay. The weather was so weird, as if I hadn't experienced enough terrible things. As a result of the combination of red earth and sun, it was a view worse than an oasis. I'm not sure I can hold on, do I want to hold on? A woman's voice saying 'for us' echoed in my ears, and I looked around with a momentary reflex. The woman whose name I still can't remember. Who were we? I think she was talking about my family. Were they aware of my condition? It wasn't hard for me to get used to my father's absence, but what was my mother doing in my absence? Did this woman console my mother, did she talk about my situation? While I wasn't even sure what it was… She knew she, of course, I was sure she knew even more. I don't know why I trusted her. Her eyes were sincere. The last moments I remember belonged to her, she. Anyway, I shouldn't be thinking about that right now. I kept moving forward in my oasis. I wish I knew how big this place is. I felt like I was seeing a house in the distance. Since I was out of power, I forced myself to pray that it was empty. One step, one more step, and as the house started to get closer, fear and joy danced inside me. Having multibillions would be less valuable than having that house empty. Please, please, I just wanted to lie down on the sofa and take off my damn shoes.
